When she’s not slaving over a hot computer, she’s a mom, author, belly dance devotée, and art card trader, with more hobbies and interests than time. (Time is always made for books, however!) If forced at hat-point to choose one, she’d name Granny Weatherwax as her heroine. Her own book, released in May 2005, combines two of her passions in one, cooking and genealogy. It helps families compile heirloom cookbooks, preserving family heritage and recipes simultaneously. Creating an Heirloom: Writing Your Family’s Cookbook is available from the publisher or through Amazon. Happily married to a man who calls her a “Halloweenie” for her love of the holiday, Lykaina and St. Marc also enjoy digital photography, and have online galleries at deviantArt.com. They have a single daughter, a cockatiel, a dog, and a zillion dust bunnies.
